What is round air diffuser

HVAC round air diffuser is a supply and exhaust air diffuser for ceiling assembly. This round diffuser is suitable for ceiling applications for cooling, heating, and other conditions. It’s widely used in offices, shopping malls, hospitals, or similar construction where there is a need for air conditioning and ventilation.

The round air diffuser usually use in the high ceiling directs the air from air conditioning systems into the room. The resulting airflow induces high levels of room air, thereby rapidly reducing the airflow velocity and the temperature difference between supply air and room air. Ceiling diffusers allow for large volume flow rates. The result is mixed flow ventilation in comfort zones, with good overall room ventilation, creating only very little turbulence in the occupied zone.

The round diffuser has 5 standard sizes from 150mm to 350mm. Its frame & blades are high-quality extruded aluminum profile construction with advantages of corrosion resistance and rigidity. A foam gasket is sealed around the back of the frame to avoid air leakage.

The round ceiling diffusers have a control device known as a damper. It has the design of butterfly or round swirl optional, which is critical in enhancing the efficiency of the device in supplying air accordingly. It can be easily adjusted through the face of the unit by means of a screwdriver or a simple hook. You can close or open the damper to control the direct airflow volume where it works.

The round diffuser can either be connected directly to a circular duct or to the plenum box. It’s a removable core for better installation and maintenance. You just push the core that will be easily taken out. There’s also a mounting bridge is optional for easy installation.
